ArchiMed’s Commitment to Sustainability
At ArchiMed, we are committed to sustainability. We are convinced that economic actors have the duty to actively contribute to providing sustainable and life-changing solutions.
As market-leading impact investors in the healthcare industry, our first and foremost goal is to help small and medium companies develop their activities and achieve their role as solution providers to improve human / animal health conditions. We believe this is fully compatible and synergistic with providing positive returns to our clients.
Following the implementation of the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Registration (SFDR) regulations, ArchiMed has categorized the Funds as financial products that promote environmental or social characteristics (Article 8 of the SFDR Regulation).
The sustainability risk policy of ArchiMed and the remuneration policy are available to the investors on the Investor Portal.
The foundation has recently spearheaded an important national initiative with ClubHouse France (www.clubhousefrance.org) and more specifically with ClubHouse Lyon.
ClubHouses are dedicated to the recovery of men and women with mental illness through a community of mutual support. They provide its members opportunities for friendship, employment, housing, and education while contributing their talents and offer the support they may need individually to continue their recovery in a single caring and safe environment.
ClubHouse France and ClubHouse Lyon are part of ClubHouse International (www.clubhouse-intl.org) which gathers over 300 local Clubhouses in more than 30 countries around the world.
UN Sustainable Development Goals
The UN Sustainable Development Goals are at the core of ArchiMed’s investment decision process. We are committed to measuring the impacts of our investments on the Sustainable Development Goals we have identified as the most relevant for the healthcare industry.
ArchiMed has defined its own assessment framework on which we base our analysis to establish an Impact Profile before a Portfolio Company acquisition. Prior to and during the investment period, an in-depth assessment is carried out, leading to the definition of an Improvement Roadmap. By doing so, ArchiMed wishes to help portfolio companies scale-up efforts and actively participate to a more sustainable World.
Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI)
Being a responsible investor, ArchiMed has also aligned itself with the Private Equity industry’s sustainable best practices by signing the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) in 2018. This binds us to integrate sustainability objectives (ESG) in our investment process, to collect KPIs and to report regularly to our investors, thus abiding by the transparency principle.
