Citieffe, a European company focused on Extremities and Trauma (Orthopaedics) implants, is delighted to announce the first clinical case of its Distal Radius (Wrist) Plate. This innovative and patented plating system is the newest addition to Citieffe’s growing portfolio in Extremities.

Citieffe announced the launch of the distal radius plate earlier in 2017 during the Italian Trauma Meeting held in Riccione. This slim and low-profile plate has been developed using a highly effective combination of titanium and stainless steel, that ensures optimal positioning and locking of poly-axial screws and a secure osteosynthesis thanks to the use of TIC ™ (Titanium Inlay Clip) Technology.

Citieffe’s CEO, Alberto Scoccianti stated, “We are excited to introduce a new offering to the Extremities market. The feedback from Mestre (Italy) Hospital surgeon was very positive and we expect to have more cases in the coming days”.
